The chief executive of a key agency can approve a screening service to do some safety checks. You need to know that this approval will say what parts of the safety check the service can do. The approval can also say which organisations and workers can use the screening service.

When a screening service is approved, it might be used for certain organisations or workers. If there are regulations made under section 33(1)(e), the approval of a screening service must follow those rules.

The approval, suspension, or cancellation of a screening service will be published in the Gazette, so you can find out about it.
