If you think someone has broken an integrity code, the Commission can investigate. The Commission looks into things that seem to be breaches of the code by organisations or people who have to follow it. They do this by following the rules in the integrity code and this part of the law.

The Commission can then decide what to do next, like sending the matter to a disciplinary process, which might include a disciplinary panel, as outlined in the code. They can also take actions that the code says they can, such as those mentioned in section 19(3)(h) or (i), to help resolve the issue. The Commission can take other actions that fit with the code if they think it's necessary.

After investigating, the Commission might publish a report about what they found, which they have to do in a way that follows section 37. You can think of this report as a way for the Commission to share what they learned from their investigation. The Commission tries to handle these investigations in a fair and transparent way.
