When you look at the anti-doping rules, you might see some things that are incorporated by reference. This means some rules or standards from other places are included in the anti-doping rules. These can be from the World Anti-Doping Agency, such as their standards, International Standards, or Models of Best Practice.

You can find more information about how this works in Part 3 of the Legislation Act 2019, which applies to the anti-doping rules in a certain way. This is because of section 64 of that Act.

Some parts of the Legislation Act 2019 do not apply to the anti-doping rules, such as Clause 1 of Schedule 2. But the rest of Schedule 2 does apply, with some changes to who is in charge.
