Miscellaneous and administrative provisions - Administrative provisions - Delegation by Registrar

82: Registrar may delegate functions, duties, or powers to clerk or other officer of Court Martial

You could also call this:

"The Registrar can pass on some tasks to a clerk or another Court Martial officer."

Illustration for Court Martial Act 2007

The Registrar can give some of their jobs to a clerk or another officer of the Court Martial. You can find out who these officers are by looking at section 79(2). The Registrar cannot give away jobs that the Chief Judge gave them. The Registrar can decide how the clerk or officer does these jobs. They can also take back these jobs at any time. This does not stop the Registrar from doing these jobs themselves. When a clerk or officer is given a job, they can do it as if it was given to them directly. If it seems like they are doing a job that was given to them, you can assume they are doing it correctly unless you have evidence that says otherwise.
