1Provisions relating to Part 2 of Military Justice Legislation Amendment Act 2018

1Interpretation in this Part

  1. In this Part,—

    amendment Act means Part 2 of the Military Justice Legislation Amendment Act 2018

      proceeding has the meaning given in clause 1 of Schedule 1AA of the Armed Forces Discipline Act 1971

        victims’ rights amendments has the meaning given in clause 1 of Schedule 1AA of the Armed Forces Discipline Act 1971.

        2Victims’ rights amendments

        1. The amendments made by section 30 of the amendment Act do not apply in relation to a proceeding to which the victims’ rights amendments do not apply in accordance with clause 3 of Schedule 1AA of the Armed Forces Discipline Act 1971.

        3Other amendments

        1. The amendments made by sections 27 to 29 of the amendment Act do not apply in relation to a proceeding described in clause 4 of Schedule 1AA of the Armed Forces Discipline Act 1971.
