Financial Service Providers (Registration and Dispute Resolution) Act 2008

Dispute resolution - Miscellaneous - Review and report on operation of this Part

80: Ministry must review and report on operation of this Part

You could also call this:

“The government must check and tell everyone how this part of the law is working”

The Ministry has to look at how this part of the law is working. They need to do this within 5 years of when this section started. After they look at it, they have to write a report for the Minister.

In the report, the Ministry needs to tell the Minister if they think any changes should be made to this part of the law. They should suggest if any parts need to be fixed or if new things should be added.

When the Minister gets the report, they need to show it to the House of Representatives as soon as they can. The House of Representatives is where the people who make laws for New Zealand meet.
