You have rights under the Copyright Act 1994. These rights expire when the copyright in a work ends. This applies to rights like being identified as the author or director, found in section 94, and objecting to derogatory treatment of a work, found in section 98. You also have rights that expire 20 years after you die. This applies to rights like stopping false attribution of your identity as an author or director, found in section 102. Other rights expire after a certain time too, like stopping false representations as to literary or artistic works, found in section 103 and section 104. These rights are part of the law to protect you and your work. You can find more information about these rights in the Copyright Act 1994. The law is in place to help you and other creators.
