You can find information about the law on the Fisheries Act 1996. The Governor-General can make a decision to repeal the ring net fishing provisions. This decision is made with the help of the Ministers. You need to know that the Ministers will review the ring net fishing provisions first. They must follow the rules in section 76 to do this. They also have to think about the recommendations they get from the review. If the ring net fishing provisions are repealed, some other sections of the law might also be repealed. These include section 76 and this section. You can learn more about how this decision is published by looking at Part 3 of the Legislation Act 2019. The decision to repeal the ring net fishing provisions is a type of secondary legislation. This means it is a law made under another law. You can find out more about secondary legislation in the Legislation Act 2019.
