17Activities prohibited in seafloor protection areas

  1. A person must not undertake any of the activities described in subsection (2) in a seafloor protection area, unless—

  2. section 24 or 26 applies to the activity; or
    1. the activity is undertaken in accordance with a permit granted under section 37.
      1. The prohibited activities are—

      2. aquaculture activities:
        1. dumping, depositing, or discharging, whether directly or indirectly, in or into a seafloor protection area, waste or other matter that is likely to have a more than minor adverse effect on aquatic life:
          1. dredging:
            1. trawling that makes contact with the seabed:
              1. Danish seining:
                1. sand extraction:
                  1. mining activity.
