43Rangers appointed under other enactments

  1. The following persons are to be treated as if they were appointed by the Director-General to exercise the powers and perform the duties of a ranger under this Act:

  2. a person appointed as a warranted officer under section 59(1) or (9) of the Conservation Act 1987:
    1. a person appointed as a fishery officer under section 196 or 197 of the Fisheries Act 1996:
      1. every officer in command of any vessel or aircraft of the New Zealand Defence Force:
        1. every constable.
