You cannot do certain activities in the Mokohīnau Islands Seafloor Protection Area. These activities are set netting, potting, and bottom longlining in a specific area. 18Additional activities prohibited in Mokohīnau Islands Seafloor Protection Area

  1. In addition to the prohibitions set out in section 17, a person must not undertake any of the activities described in subsection (2) in the Mokohīnau Islands Seafloor Protection Area unless—

  2. section 24 or 26 applies to the activity; or
    1. the activity is undertaken in accordance with a permit granted under section 37.
