You can have the conditions of your permit changed. The Director-General can make these changes for several reasons. They can change the conditions if you agree to the changes. The Director-General can also make changes to correct small mistakes. They can make changes if the permit already says they can. They can make changes for reasons listed in section 40. You can ask the Director-General to change the conditions of your permit. When you ask for a change, you must give the Director-General any information they need. 39Amendment to permit conditions

  1. The Director-General may amend the conditions of a permit—

  2. in accordance with any condition in the permit; or
    1. to correct a minor or technical error; or
      1. with the permit holder’s agreement; or
        1. on 1 or more of the grounds specified in section 40; or
          1. in accordance with an application by the permit holder under subsection (2).
            1. The permit holder may apply to the Director-General for any conditions of the permit to be amended.

            2. An application must be accompanied by any information required by the Director-General to assess the application.

            3. After making any amendment to the conditions of a permit, the Director-General must—

            4. notify the permit holder within a reasonable time; and
              1. allow the permit holder a reasonable opportunity to comply with any amended conditions.
