68Application for relief
Within 10 working days after the date of any forfeiture under section 65 or 66, the Director-General must publicly notify—
- the details of the forfeited property; and
- the rights of persons to apply under this section.
A person claiming an interest in any forfeited property may, within 35 working days after the date of the forfeiture, apply to the District Court for relief from the effect of forfeiture on that interest.
An application under subsection (2) must include—
- a description of the forfeited property in which the interest is claimed; and
- details of the interest claimed, including whether it is—
- legal or equitable; or
- by way of security, including details of the security arrangement; or
- noted on any register; and
- legal or equitable; or
- an estimate of the value of the forfeited property and the claimed interest in it.
