Illustration for Remuneration Authority Act 1977

The Remuneration Authority can decide the salary of some people. If they have the power to do this, they can also decide if you can get extra money on top of your salary. They can say you cannot get any extra money, or they can say what extra money you can get. They can even decide how much extra money you can get. You can check section 12(1)(a) to see who the Authority has the power to make decisions about. The Authority's decisions are final and will be followed as stated.
