36Savings and validation

Nothing in this Act shall affect the validity of any determination made by the Higher Salaries Commission before the commencement of this Act pursuant to Part 2 of the Wage Adjustment Regulations 1974 and every such determination shall be and be deemed always to have been valid according to its tenor.
Notwithstanding anything in this Act, salaries and allowances in respect of which the Remuneration Authority may make determinations shall, until amended or superseded by determination of the Authority, continue to be payable at the rates applicable at the commencement of this Act.
