The District Court can help with certain issues related to building societies. You can go to the District Court if:

You're a member of a building society and have a disagreement with them about an amount up to $350,000.

The building society needs to get back money or enforce a claim, but only if it's for $350,000 or less.

There are other matters under this law that the building society needs help with, as long as they don't involve more than $350,000.
