If you are giving evidence or making submissions by audio link from Australia, the courtroom in New Zealand and the place in Australia must have special facilities. These facilities must allow you to hear the people in the New Zealand courtroom and them to hear you in Australia. You can find more information about this by looking at the Trans-Tasman Proceedings Act 2010. The facilities must work both ways, so you can hear each other. This is part of the Evidence Act 2006, which you can read more about on the New Zealand legislation website.
