1Short Title and commencement

  1. This Act may be cited as the Medicines Act 1981.

  2. This Act shall come into force on a date to be appointed by the Governor-General by Order in Council, and different dates may be so appointed in respect of different provisions of this Act.

  3. An order under this section is secondary legislation (see Part 3 of the Legislation Act 2019 for publication requirements).
