You can include certain written material in regulations made under section 105 of the Medicines Act 1981. This material can be from international or national organisations, or from other countries. It can also be other written material that deals with technical matters and is too large to include in the regulations. You can include standards, frameworks, and codes of practice in the regulations. These can be from New Zealand or other countries. The regulations can also include material that is too big to publish as part of the regulations. If material is included in the regulations by reference, the provisions of Schedule 3 apply. This means that Schedule 3 has rules that apply to this material. You can find these rules in Schedule 3 of the Medicines Act 1981, which you can access via the link to Schedule 3.
