You have a committee called the Medicines Review Committee. This committee is part of the Medicines Act. It is related to section 8. You need to know who is on this committee. The Minister chooses 6 members for the committee. One of these members is the chairman. The committee must have people with different types of experience. This includes a doctor, a pharmacist, and someone who works in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. It also includes someone who knows about chemistry, but not pharmaceutical chemistry. When the committee talks about natural therapy, they get help from someone with experience in this area. The Minister chooses this person. The committee members can get paid for their work. They can receive fees, a salary, or allowances. They can also get money for travel expenses. This is done according to the Fees and Travelling Allowances Act 1951.
