17Manufacturers, wholesalers, packers of medicines, and operators of pharmacies to be licensed
Except as provided in sections 25 to 34, or as may be permitted by regulations made under this Act, no person shall, in the course of any business carried on by that person,—
- manufacture any medicine; or
- sell any medicine by wholesale; or
- pack or label any medicine; or
- operate any pharmacy,—
Every person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and is liable on
conviction to a fine not exceeding $40,000.
