45Obstructing, hindering, resisting, or deceiving Inspector-General
A person commits an offence if the person wilfully, without reasonable excuse,—
- obstructs, hinders, or resists the Inspector-General in the performance of the Inspector-General’s functions:
- refuses or fails to comply with a lawful requirement of the Inspector-General:
- makes a false statement to, or misleads or attempts to mislead, the Inspector-General.
A person who commits an offence against this section is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000.
