General powers
25Defence Force must provide information and assistance on request
The Defence Force must, on request, provide the Inspector-General with—
- information about activities of the Defence Force and about incidents that have occurred in the course of those activities:
- any other assistance that the Inspector-General reasonably requires for the performance of the Inspector-General’s functions.
A request under this section may—
- relate to a particular investigation or assessment; or
- be made for the purpose of obtaining information about the Defence Force’s activities more generally.
