You can make a complaint to the Authority about a broadcast. The Authority will not accept your complaint if it is made outside the time limit. You must make your complaint within a certain time after the broadcast or the broadcaster's decision. You have different time limits to make a complaint, depending on what you are complaining about. If you are complaining under section 8(1) or section 8(1C), you have 60 working days. If you are complaining under section 8(1A) or section 8(1B), you have 20 working days. The time limit starts on the first working day after the broadcast or the broadcaster's decision. You must make your complaint before the time limit ends. The Authority will not accept your complaint if you make it too late.
