77Consultation with parties

  1. Before making any allocation of the money referred to in section 74, the Electoral Commission must give to every party that has provided a notice under section 76 the opportunity to—

  2. meet with the Electoral Commission; and
    1. be heard by the Electoral Commission.
      1. The failure of a party to make use of an opportunity afforded under subsection (1), or to comply with any request of the Electoral Commission, does not—

      2. prevent the Electoral Commission from making an allocation of money; or
        1. affect the validity of any allocation of money made, or not made, to a party.
