You can find out about reclaimed land that is subject to the Land Act 1948. The Minister can declare this land to be Crown land by putting a notice in the Gazette. This land is not subject to the Marine and Coastal Area (Takutai Moana) Act 2011. You need to know what kind of land this is. It includes reclaimed land that belongs to the Crown because of section 30 or 31. It also includes reclaimed land that the Crown has bought since the Marine and Coastal Area (Takutai Moana) Act 2011 started. When the Minister puts a notice in the Gazette, it must say where the reclaimed land is and how big it is. The notice takes effect 28 days after it is published in the Gazette, and the land is subject to the Land Act 1948, which you can find at https://legislation.govt.nz/act/public/1986/0120/latest/link.aspx?id=DLM250585. This means the land is governed by the Land Act 1948, not the Marine and Coastal Area (Takutai Moana) Act 2011.
