49Obligation on decision maker

  1. If the Director-General is advised by iwi, hapū, or whānau and accepts, or determines under section 48(4), that they are affected iwi, hapū, or whānau, the decision maker must have particular regard to the views of those affected iwi, hapū, or whānau in considering the application or proposal.
