If you want to file a charge about something that is against the Waste Minimisation Act 2008, there is a time limit. The time limit is 12 months after the person who starts the proceedings finds out, or should have found out, about the matter. This is different from what is said in section 25 of the Criminal Procedure Act 2011.

If the charge is about something that is against a bylaw made under section 56, the time limit is 6 months. The 6 months starts after the territorial authority that starts the proceedings finds out, or should have found out, about the matter. You need to know when the matter was discovered to work out the time limit.
