When you look at the rules for Oranga Tamariki, you will see some changes to regulation 87. The heading of regulation 87 now says "Minister and Independent Monitor of Oranga Tamariki System" instead of "the Minister and independent monitor". When you read regulation 87, you will see that it talks about reporting results. It used to say that reports had to be done every 3 years after the independent monitor did a report about whether the chief executive or organisation was following the rules. Now it says that reports must be done every year before the Independent Monitor of the Oranga Tamariki System does a report under sections 23 or 24 of the Oversight of Oranga Tamariki System Act 2022.
