20Engagement by Monitor

  1. For the purpose of performing their monitoring function under this Act, the Monitor may engage directly with—

  2. children and young people who receive services or support through the Oranga Tamariki system and the families, whānau, hapū, iwi, and communities associated with those children and young people:
    1. the chief executive of Oranga Tamariki, approved providers, and caregivers:
      1. relevant stakeholders, including advocacy services:
        1. any other individual or agency that the Monitor considers appropriate.
