Illustration for Parole Act 2002

When you are released from prison, the person in charge must tell the Police a few things. They must tell the Police the date you will be released, the conditions you must follow when you are released, and the date you would have been released if you had served your full sentence. The person in charge must give the Police this information before you are released from prison. If you have to follow rules about where you can live, the person in charge must also tell the Police when these rules start and end.
