If you are an offender with an extended supervision order, this section might apply to you. You must have been given this order before this section started, and it must expire within six months of this section starting. You also need someone to apply for a new extended supervision order for you before your current one expires.

When this section applies, your current order's expiry date changes to the earliest of three possible dates. This can be the date your new order application is declined, the date your new order starts, or six months after this section starts.

You will still have to follow your current extended supervision order until the new expiry date arrives.
