20Modification of Acts for members of one Service attached or deemed attached to another Service
Where a member of one Service is attached by virtue of section 18, or is deemed to be attached by virtue of section 19, to another Service, this Act and the Armed Forces Discipline Act 1971 shall apply to that member subject to the following modifications:
- anything required or authorised by this Act or the Armed Forces Discipline Act 1971 to be done by, to, or before the Chief of the Service to which that member belongs may, in respect of any such member, be done by, to, or before the Chief of the Service to which that member is attached:
- any member shall, in the Service to which that member is attached, have the same powers and be treated as if he or she were a member of that Service holding an equivalent rank:
- such other necessary modifications as may be prescribed.
