Illustration for Defence Act 1990

You work in the Civil Staff and the Chief of Defence Force makes a plan each year. This plan is to ensure everyone has equal chances at work. The Chief of Defence Force must make sure this plan is followed. The Chief of Defence Force writes a report each year about what the Defence Force did. You can read about the equal employment opportunities plan in this report. It also says how well the Defence Force followed the plan. An equal employment opportunities programme is a plan to find and remove things that cause inequality at work. This plan is to help make sure everyone is treated fairly. It is used for the Civil Staff and is part of the Defence Act.
