You can ask the person you lease from to tell you some things about your lease. You need to ask in writing and the person you lease from must tell you within 15 working days. They can ask you to pay a reasonable fee for this information. You can ask for things like how much you pay, when you pay, and how many payments you make. You can also ask for details about any changes made to the lease and a copy of any disclosure statement. The person you lease from does not have to tell you if they already told you in the last three months or if your lease ended over a year ago. The person you lease from must give you the information you ask for within 15 working days of getting your request or payment. This helps you know what is going on with your lease and makes sure the person you lease from is fair. You have the right to ask for this information and the person you lease from must follow the rules.
