137Conflict of laws

  1. This Act applies to a credit contract, guarantee, lease, or buy-back transaction if the contract, guarantee, lease, or transaction—

  2. is governed by the law of New Zealand; or
    1. would be governed by the law of New Zealand but for a choice of law provision in the contract, guarantee, lease, or transaction.
