Equal Pay Act 1972

Pay equity claims - Affected employees automatically covered by union claims

13Z: Employer must notify union of employees covered by union-raised claim

You could also call this:

"Employer must tell the union about employees affected by a pay claim"

If a union makes a claim about pay equity with your employer, and you are one of the employees covered by this claim, your employer must tell the union about you. Your employer has to give the union your name and contact details so they can send you written information. Your employer must do this as soon as possible after 20 working days have passed since they got the notice from the union, which is mentioned in section 13V(1), and you did not opt out under section 13Y.
