13ZPPurpose of facilitating pay equity claim

  1. The purpose of sections 13ZQ to 13ZX is to provide a process that enables 1 or more parties to a pay equity claim who are having difficulties in resolving that claim to seek the assistance of the Authority in resolving the difficulties.

  2. Sections 13ZQ to 13ZX do not—

  3. prevent the parties from seeking assistance from another person in resolving the difficulties; or
    1. apply to any agreement or arrangement with the other person providing such assistance.
