6A: Meaning of NZTA land

“What counts as land owned by the New Zealand Transport Agency”

In this law, NZTA land means any area of land that the New Zealand Transport Agency controls or manages under a transport law. This includes parts of these areas too. However, if any of this land is always covered by water, it doesn’t count as NZTA land.

6AMeaning of NZTA land

  1. In this Act, NZTA land

  2. means an area of land that is controlled or managed by the New Zealand Transport Agency under a transport Act; and
    1. includes any part of an area of land referred to in paragraph (a); but
      1. does not include an area of land referred to in paragraph (a) or (b) that is permanently covered by water.
