Dog Control Act 1996

Registration and registration fees

44: Dog not wearing proper label or disc deemed unregistered

You could also call this:

"Dogs must wear a registration label or disc on their collar to be considered registered."

If you have a dog, it must wear a collar with a current registration label or disc. If your dog is not wearing this, it will be considered unregistered until you prove otherwise. You need to make sure your dog has the right label or disc on its collar.
