If you own a dog, you must make sure it gets proper care and attention. You need to give your dog enough food, water, and shelter. You also need to give your dog enough exercise. If you do not do these things, you can get in trouble with the law. You might have to pay a fine of up to $5,000 or go to prison for up to 3 months. You can find more information about changes to this law by looking at the Criminal Procedure Act 2011.
