25Police objection

  1. The Commissioner of Police may, regardless of the content of the report prepared under section 24(1), object to an applicant being granted a certificate on the grounds that the applicant is not a fit and proper person to hold a certificate.

  2. Any objection under subsection (1) (a Police objection) must set out the reasons for it and be made—

  3. within 3 weeks of receiving a copy of the application, if the report under section 24(1) is provided by the Commissioner of Police; or
    1. within 3 weeks of receiving a copy of the report under section 24(1), if that report is not provided by the Commissioner of Police.
      1. The Commissioner of Police must send a copy of the Police objection, if any, to the applicant at the same time that it is sent to a Licensing Authority.
