Illustration for Secondhand Dealers and Pawnbrokers Act 2004

You made an application for a licence under the Secondhand Dealers Act 1963 or the Pawnbrokers Act 1908, but it was not finished before this section came into force. As soon as possible, your application will be sent to the Licensing Authority. It will be treated as if you applied for a secondhand dealer and pawnbroker licence under this Act. If your application does not have enough information, the Licensing Authority may ask you to provide more details and will not process it until you do. They cannot ask you to pay an extra fee for your application. You will need to give them the extra information they need.
