You can find the powers of the High Court in New Zealand exercised by a High Court Judge or more than one High Court Judge in any part of the country. The High Court's powers can be used by one or more judges. This is unless another law says the full court or a certain number of judges must be used. You need to know that some laws may require the full court or a certain number of judges to make decisions. Other laws may allow people who are not High Court Judges to sit with the court. These laws can affect how the High Court's powers are used, as seen in the Senior Courts Act related legislation.
