Illustration for Senior Courts Act 2016

You can make rules for the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court. These rules are about how the court works. They can include things like appointing technical advisers to help the court. You can make rules about what information to give to people involved in an appeal before a technical adviser is appointed. This includes telling them who might be a good technical adviser and what the adviser will help with. People involved in the appeal can also give their thoughts on the proposed technical adviser. You can also make rules about how the court works when technical advisers are involved. This is so everything runs smoothly and fairly in the court.
