When someone applies to the court about you because of a substance addiction problem, the district inspector gets involved. The district inspector talks to you to find out if you want them to go to court and say something about your application. They then decide whether to go to court and talk about your application, thinking about what you told them. The district inspector tries to talk to you in person when finding out what you think. They make a decision about going to court based on what you say.
