Some examples of laws being repealed are the Alcoholism and Drug Addiction Act and the Social Security Act.
The Substance Addiction Act is empowered by s 122, which is another part of the law.
Some legislative instruments are being revoked, which means they are no longer in force.
These instruments include the Alcoholism and Drug Addiction Act Commencement Order and the Alcoholism and Drug Addiction Institutions Order.
Other legislative instruments, like the Health Regulations and the Social Security Regulations, are being amended to fit with the new Substance Addiction Act.
