If you are in charge of a treatment centre or work there, you must let inspectors in. You cannot hide things from them or stop them from doing their job. If you do, you might get in trouble.

If you try to hide something or someone from the inspectors, or if you stop them from looking around, you are breaking the law. You are also breaking the law if you get in the way of the inspectors in any other way. This can happen when a district inspector, the Director, or an Area Director visits your treatment centre.

If you break this law, you could have to pay a fine of up to $2,000 if you are found guilty.
