Illustration for Limited Partnerships Act 2008

If you look at documents about a limited partnership at their office, it does not mean you know what is in them. You are not affected by the partnership agreement or other documents just because you can see them. The fact that you can inspect these documents at the office does not mean you have notice or knowledge of their contents, as stated in the legislation, which can be compared to s 19.
