109Use of name by overseas limited partnership
Every overseas limited partnership that carries on business in New Zealand must ensure that its
name, and the name of the country where it was formed or incorporated, are clearly stated in—- written communications sent by, or on behalf of, the overseas limited partnership; and
- documents issued or signed by, or on behalf of, the overseas limited partnership that evidence or create a legal obligation of the overseas limited partnership.
For the purposes of subsection (1), a generally recognised abbreviation of a word or words may be used in the name of an overseas limited partnership if it is not misleading to do so.
